Our flight to LA was delayed 1 hour and our shuttle bus to our hostel took 2 hours, so we spent the whole 1st day travelling to our hostel. Although our shuttle bus went through UCLA, Sun Set blvd and gave us a general feeling for the different suburbs ( mind you it only took 30 minutes to get back to the airport). When we finally arrived we checked out the Hollywood walk of fame which just goes on and on, got a few happy snaps and did the traditional american thing ate macdonalds.

On Friday we went to Universal Studios. The day started with a guided studio tour were we visited past and current sets, including Wisteria lane, cars from Fast and the Furious, the plane crash from War of the Worlds and Jaws.

There were many rides and movie attractions to see making it hard to fit them all into our 9-6 day. Our favourite attractions were Shrek 4D, Jarasic Park water roller- coaster, Water World and Haunted house, where actors jump out to scare you.

On the way home we managed to see the Hollywood Hills and famouse houses featured in movies and Britney Spears house. We could see the Hollywood sign from a distance.
