Yesterday was the most perfect day ever!
We all had such a chilled morning around our pool and then went up to the bar for happy hour cocktails.
By then it was almost 3 so me and Hana went back to ours to get showered. The boys came back for a bit but then disappeared when hair and make up turned up. As soon as she walked in you could tell that she probably didn't start out female! How many people can say they had their wedding hair and make up done by a ladyboy! I have to say she did such a good job though! I felt like a princess once I had put my dress on!
We were running a bit late and once we were both ready it was all a bit of blur! We were hurried out the door and down the path to wait for the music and then it was the walk down what was the aisle! This was in fact the pathway by the side of the main pool, so we had a lot of onlookers!
The actual ceremony was lovely but seemed to go so fast! As soon as that was over it was straight into photos and we had the best sunset and evening for this! We have some of the pictures taken on bens phone which are stunning so I can only imagine what the professional ones look like!
We then had our meal which was a beautiful table set up on the other end of the beach. I have never eaten so much! We had shrimp and avocado salad, lobster soup, lobster, banana panacotta, beef and apple strudel! The food was amazing though. None of us had any room for the strawberry cheesecake that was our wedding cake!
After a couple of more drinks the bar had closed and we were all pretty tired so we went back to ours to chill for a bit before going to sleep.
This morning we had to check out at 12 so after breakfast we made the most of our private pool! We went to check out and had some time to kill before our car so went and had a go at the cheesecake!
The driver seemed to get totally lost on the way to our next hostel but we eventually got there and it is such a massive contrast to the passage! But even though it's shared bathroom we have our own room and it's quite nice and chilled in a more livelier area of Koh Samui... Back to reality!
We went for a wander round town this afternoon and booked a trip for tomorrow to the marine park. This evening we are just chilling at the bar at the hostel and getting ourselves ready for tomorrow!
I can't believe the last few days are over, they are definitely times that I will remember forever. The staff at the passage could not have done more for us and made mine and Shane's day so special!
But we have another two weeks of Thailand to look forward to still :)
