Last night we stayed around the hostel until Tash and Rob left for their night bus to Hanoi. The way they were looking before they left definitely made us feel like we had made the right choice with the flight!
We stayed and chatted to some English guys before heading out for food. A few more drinks at the hostel and we headed up to pack and go to bed.
We got up early for breakfast and to wait for our 9.30 bus which wasn't too late, turning up just before 10. It took us 3 and a half hours to get to Vang Vieng, which isn't too long but the roads were awful! We were literally being thrown out of our seats and the driver was going so fast round the corners! We got here in one piece though! We have a private room for our first couple of nights here, which we might extend, and have spent the afternoon catching up on some sleep as the hostel was quite noisy last night so neither of us slept very well. We are going to try and book onto a trip tomorrow where you go tubing through caves, kayaking and zip lining. This means we will probably have a fairly quiet one tonight, especially as we were up late every night we were in Vientiane!
