We got up and went to the Vietnamese consulate for 8am this morning. I'm glad we went early as it did start picking up around 8.15! It was so easy to sort our visas out. We filled in the forms, gave them to one person who gave us a receipt and then saw another person to pay. Today we were up ready for our bus to Luang Prabang. We were put in a tuk tuk first that drove around picking others up before taking us to a hotel where we waited for our bus. Just after 9 it turned up but it took a while for the driver to figure out how he was going to fit all of us in and our bags!
