We got out of bed at a more reasonable time today! It is shrove Tuesday so we went to get pancakes for breakfast being renting bikes again.
Today we headed over to Don Khon to see the waterfalls. Once we had crossed the bridge we cycled to where the waterfalls are and had to leave our bikes and walk. It was a beautiful walk along the river where loads of Rapids and multiple waterfalls ran into the river. It was incredible! We followed the path to a restaurant next to an area of beach where we had some water and a rest before walking back to our bikes.
The map was showing another waterfall on the road leading to another beach so we headed towards this. This one wasn't quite as impressive so we carried on down to the beach where we sat and had a cold drink before walking our bikes back up the hill we had come down.
From here we cycled back. Today is hotter and the sky much clearer which made the island look even better than yesterday and it was lovely to cycle along the side of the river taking in the views.
We have booked on to a kayak trip tomorrow so we are planning on a quiet and chilled one as two days on a bike has tired us out and made me ache all over!
