We both had a lovely new year eves, even though it didn't go quite to plan!
Shane accidentally promised Heng, the Cambodian boy we have been spending time with that he would go into town with him! So instead of having the nice meal we had planned we went for a quick bite to eat and then to find Heng, but he had disappeared! Instead we just had some drinks at the hotel bar and plays pool before sitting on the beach to watch all the fireworks at midnight, it was perfect!
We went for our nice meal last night instead. We also overslept and missed breakfast at our hotel so went to the same place for breakfast in the morning yesterday, the food is so good there!
We have spent the days on the beach again, which means we are all nice and relaxed ready to start the rest of our travels! We have booked a bus and accommodation in Kampot leaving tomorrow morning. Although we are both ready to start moving again it is a bit sad leaving somewhere so lovely, especially the people here. This morning Heng and his mum have bought us coffee and local foods no matter how much we say not to! Our bus is booked for 7.30 tomorrow morning so we have had a quiet one with another meal at the nice restaurant and a couple of drinks before finishing our packing!
