Not much to write about for Hervey Bay we decided to stop here for a couple of nights. As we had a couple of days to spare and seeing as it was hot and sunny we wanted to stay in the sun for as long as possible. The beach in Hervey Bay was beautiful really still water soft sand stretching for miles. That we actually attempted to walk part of it one afternoon. We done well walked about half the beach. I think the beach was the main reason we stayed here for a couple extra nights as it was such a nice place for us to detox. Laze on the beach in the day and then watch movies in the hostel. We moved hostels after staying one night in Koala's backpackers hostel. It was the worst place we've stayed in sofar on our travels. The kitchen was a health hazard we decided best not to attempt to cook anything in it incase we caught something. We got up early next morning checked out and moved into Next backpackers it was like a palace compared to Koalas. Like i said we detoxed from alcohol after Whitsundays and in preparation for Fraser island. The movie room become one of our favourite places. Well it had large leather sofas and over 500 movies to pick from.

After three really chilled out days we caught the greyhound to our next stop Rainbow beach.
