Just got back from Fraser Island on a three day trip driving around an island made of sand in a beastly 4WD car, had an amazing time, i wont go into it too much as there are lots waiting for internet, but we went to the second most easterly point in australia, a place called lake mackenzie a stunning lake, clear fresh water, surronded by white sands! which was amazing, we visited a freshwater creek, which you could float down right to the beach. and another lake which was surrounded by sand dunes, so most spent their time running if not rolling down the dunes to get to the water, luckily no injuries. but we mainly spent evenings socialising, we had a car for 8 people with 6 boys and 2 girls, great fun, lots of laughs and some interesting driving, boys all doing the same as us travelling up north apart from one but had been to bangkok and were going to NZ so lots of travelling stories shared.

The first night camping was great fun, drank lots met so many different people, went to the beach hanging out of the back of a pick-up truck and thats about the limit of what i remember! The next night (last night) i decided to stay sober, yesterday morning was far far too painful! But we had a dingo attack, one of the guys liam saw one whiilst he went for a piss and it didnt want to leave him alone, it then went for their tents, attacked one of their sleeping bags and stole another guy James' rucksack, which had disappeared and no-one found it for quite a while! It was stolen because it had dry noodles in it, we think the dog then pissed on it because he discovered it was just dry noodles, and was clearly not happy.

I have done some good driving, drove over some serious 4x4 stuff shaking the car big time, and causing serious bum pain but was all great fun!

Watching the state of origin game tonight with the boys i think which will be good, thats like big rugby league over here so more drinking then up nice and early to head to a place called 1770/agnes water, spend a night there then head up to airlie beach to do our sailing trip from whitsundays.
