G'day from Aussie territory.

Internet is not cheap out here and im not getting good at all this blogging stuff but i will try at least everyday or every other day to update from now on due to peer pressure!

Anyway we are currently in Byron Bay after long journeys up from the cold cold south and it is so incredibly and beautifully warm if not hot!! Most of the day its even tanning weather, my blogs are not doing to well so no-one will know about liz and aaron our wonderful irish friends who we met in melbourne, and have been catching up with most of the way along the coast. We have spent the past couple of days with them, chilling by the beach and bodyboarding in not bad water and surf. Byron Bay however is amazingly noticably different to everywhere weve been in Oz, everyone is so unbelievably chilled out! People walk around in bare feet all the time, there are hundreds of people on skateboards and everyone seems to walk ten times slower than everywhere else in the world! Its like a small town, everything you need is in one place but there are about ten beaches all surrounding the town.

Today we took the free bodyboards out to the main beach and had an amazing time, the problem is some are not exactly small and the sea is not exactly forgiving, especially when your my size and your swimming attire is a bikini not a wetsuit. So after drying off and tanning for a while we found dominoes in amongst hippie land, and had pizzas on the beach. So the boys wanted to go back in the water and i agreed to join only to be convinced that further down was where we should go because the waves were better, only for me to get the life beaten out of me by the most unforgiving waves that towered over me and most broke over my head dragging me into the current and practically drowning me because i hadnt caught the wave and the boys had so sadly there was no-one to rescue me! Not impressed, so i went back to lie on the beach.

Tonight we are going to a wonderful bar/dance club called Cheeky Monkeys, this wonderful place is where we spent our first night trying to earn free stuff and i did some things i will never do again, not too bad have no fear :)

Anyway chaps will update you in a couple of days or maybe less as we head up to Surfer's paradise on wednesday, hopefully renting some surfboards here tomorrow going to brave the waves and have a shot, even though we dont really know how to surf! haha :)
