Arrived in Rainbow Beach this afternoon after heading up from Pelican Waters after staying with my mum's cousin, Stuart, his wife Lyn and their west highland terrier Misty. We were treated in so much style compared to how we have been living with long hot showers, proper towels, good meals, a nintendo wii and a big comfy bed.

But before that we were in a place called surfers paradise which is supposeed to be the most amazing surfing on the gold coast but the weather was terrible and the water was freezing so i decided not to brave the waters but josh did he went body boarding with aaron and surfing. We stayed there for 2 nights in a wonderful hostel, basically our own apartement with aaron and liz, had great times watching tv and playing drinking games, the town was far too americanised so we decided not to bother with going out, far too much money, goon seems to be the best option. (If you dont know what goon is type it in on google, aussie goon, then you will see)

Tomorrow we are heading out on a 4WD safari to fraser island, the largest sand island in the world and all a national park, (camping it is then) as well as using the ground as a toilet, living it large we are guys!!

I even get to drive this beast with 7 other people in the car 6 guys and 1 other girl, i think it will be grear fun, the worsr part is we can only bring 10 boxes of wine, and we get breathalised so i think i will be driving on the first day and enjoying the rest of it!

Anyway, will be out of it for about 3 days now so will let you know how it all went when were back :)
