In the last blog I forgot to mention that we paid Bundaberg a visit. The drive to Bundaberg was very pleasant; the road flattened out, the soils were tinged red and there were sugarcane farms either side of the road. After Brisbane we headed an hour north to The Glass House Mountains where we spent the day roaming around and climbing mountains which were the remains of old volcanic plugs. The following day we went to Australia zoo which was amazing! There were a lot of plaques and memorials dedicated to Steve Irwin so the legend well and truly lives on.
