23 - Sunday 14th September 2014, Kuta, Bali, Indonesia

Today is my last day in Bali and my holiday is coming to an end, our flight back to Perth leaves tomorrow at 9am so we arrive back to australia at around 1pm. Bali has been fantastic and I really hope to return here one day to go off to the Gilli islands and do some diving, and relaxing on the beautiful beaches.

In Bali we have had some great experiences we went to the monkey temple for a day, which is in the middle of this Forrest close to the centre of the island and it seems to be where all the wild monkeys live. Once we arrived at the temple it was full of monkeys, everywhere we looked we could see them. Although it was good to see the monkeys in the wild, it was clear that they all lived there because they knew it was a hot tourist spot, where people would feed them. Nether the less it was great to see them, we took lots of photos and fed the monkeys. Some of them had tiny baby's with them as well so it was great to see, although one tried to steal my backpack, I ended up in a near wrestling match trying to win it back! (Needless to say I won ;) )1

We also wanted to visit the incredible rice fields of Bali, these are large areas where the rice grows and people pick the rice which I guess we buy in supermarkets. Well it's such tough work in the heat out here, every grain on your plate should be cherished! They were awesome, such lush green colours, so well looked after, and beautiful. Although it was hot will still manage to walk around the fields for a good few hours. Taking in the culture and taking a few photos. We then left to go back to our hotel in Kutu, where we headed off for the evening having our usual evening cocktails, massage and dinner, a lifestyle I could soon become accustom too. Although sadly back to not quite hotel style luxury back in Perth, more bunk bed style...who am I kidding I still love it!

Bali has been awesome, a perfect holiday in the sun, and just what I needed. So today we are just going to make the most of the sun tanning, and then head into town for a pedicure, manicure and a final body massage. It's been awesome thank you Bali!
