22- Saturday 6th September 2014, Swiss-bell hotel, Kutu, Bali,Indonesia
Hello from Bali! Last night at around 10.30 we arrived in Bali, I am so excited as we have booked to stay in a 4 star hotel on the beach, this is somewhat a step up from the endless hostels I have spent most of my nights in this year. Wow and I wasn't disappointed the beds are amazing and we have bath robes, slippers a mini bar and we just had to order some room service, it's incredible. I am travelling in Bali with Jackie a girl from Leeds ( northerners everywhere) I met in the backpackers in Perth.
So Bali is beaut, so far all iv done really is chill and sun bath by the pool. In the evening we went for a full body scrub which we decided to do at the beginning of our holiday in the hope it will make our tans last longer. It's awesome just being able to walk in a massage place and have everything and anything you want. We have already booked our warm stone and after sun massages as well as pedicures and manicures haha...life is so good. The Bali people seem really friendly and much like Thailand when they try and pull you in their taxis and shops, they are friendly and polite at the same time. Bali reminds me so much of Thailand. I would love to explore the island future than just Kutu or legion, however Jackie and I decided before we left Australia that this would just be a luxurious holiday for the both of us. And to tell the truth it's so nice to just leave the backpack in the wardrobe for a few days.
So the rest of the plan is to stay round the pool and relax, drink too many cocktails eat nice food and go back to the massage place a few more times. I am having a really relaxing time and enjoying what Kutu has to offer. Although not a true backpacking trip this trip to Bali is just what I needed some time to chill and take a look back at the last few months that I have experienced.
