Today we spent the morning packing and getting ready to leave for the long journey to Hoi An tonight. We checked out of the hotel at 12:00 and headed to a nearby cafe for lunch. I managed to pick up a cheap book for the joruney from one of the street sellers in town - they walk from restaurant to restaurant with a portable bookshelf stakced high with books. It must weigh a ton and they all carry the same books, so once you've said 'No' to one, you've said 'No' to...

We're really getting into this beach bum lifestyle! Today we did the same as the last few days - had a bit of a lie-in then went to Veranda restaurant again for breakfast. We took a few photos of the gorgeous beach before heading back to the Louisiane Brewhouse to grab some sunbeds. It was a lot quieter today as the national holiday has now finished, so we had no trouble finding some beds. We stayed there for most of the day relaxing and cooling off in the pool...

Off to the beach again this morning...this time to try something we've wanted to do for ages - paragliding! We've seen it on lots of beaches but it's usually too expensive, particularly when we're on holiday in Spain spending Euros! Here, I'd done my research during a walk along the beach a couple of days ago and found somewhere (a few guys sat under a tent on the beach - I'd like to see their Health and Safety certificate!) that did tandem glides for 600,000dong...

Another lie-in today, this time with a slight hangover! When we eventually left the hotel, we stopped at an internet cafe next door - back to internet cafes now that we don't have the laptop! After catching up with emails and facebook, we headed back to the restaurant where we had breakfast yesterday for some food and drinks. Dave wasn't feeling too great so just had a drink! Our first full day in Nha Trang...we enjoyed a lie-in and then headed for the beach! We found a restaurant across the (very busy) road from the beach and we stopped there for a big breakfast. Then we spent most of the afternoon on the lovely Nha Trang beach - very clean, lots of space and very comfortable loungers!
