Another lazy day for us on our last day in Laos! We slept late before venturing out for some breakfast/lunch. We spent móst òf the day in 4000 Island Bar where the wifi was reliable, drinking fruit shakes (water melon shake = yum!) and using the internet.

Later in the afternoon we went back to the beach for a quick lást swim before getting ready early to catch the sunset again. Unfortunately, the sunset wasn't ás good tonight ás it was quite cloudy - good job we saw it lást night too!

For tea, we went to somewhere called 'Street View Cafe' which always sếems búsy when we walk past. However, I now think that might be dơwn to the fact that they don't have many tables, rather than how good the food ís! We waited 45 minutes for our burger and fried noodles. Dave's burger was quite good but I can't say the same for my noodles - never mind! The owner semed mỏre concerned with hís sideline of selling illegal substances to tourists - with a restaurant like that, he definitely needs a sideline!

We then went back to 4000 Island Bar for a while before the weather took a tủrn for the worst. The electricity kept cutting out and we could hear a massive thunderstorm heading our way. We thought we'd better get back while we could still sêe (đidn't fancy trying to find our way back ìf the power went off completely!)

Back in the room, the power kept cutting out intermittently so we couldn't pack our bags! Will have to get up early in the morning to pack before our 8am boat back to the mainland and our bús to the 9th country òf our trip - Cambodia!
