Today Nicky and Duncan left Octopus to go to another island, so after breakfast we exchanged email addresses with them and waved them off when their boat left at 11am (trying to sing along with the traditional Fijian goodbye song!). Today we woke up to more rain, but the resort didn't seem to lose any of its charm, even in the bad weather. After breakfast, we had booked to go on a visit to a school at Yalobi Village, so we headed down to the dive shop at 9:30am. Today we had a dive in the Ocean booked for 11am so after breakfast we relaxed in the hammocks before heading to teh dive shop to get our gear (including wetsuits!). We were in the boat with 3 other qualified divers who were diving with a different instructor. Kuki and Simon, the boatman, helped us get our equipment on when we got to the dive site then showed us how to get in the water - sit on the edge of the boat, one hand covering mouthpiece and front of mask...

Today we spent the first part of the morning by the pool in the sunshine after another fantastic breakfast. Still getting used to calling Laura my fiance (fiancee?)! At 2pm we went to the Dive Shop to meet Kuki, who was going to be our instructor for 'Discover Scuba', an introduction to scuba diving. The Proposal........ Today it was very hot and sunny again so after breakfast we sunbathed at the beach, relaxed in the hammocks and read our books. After lunch, we sat relaxing at the pool for a few hours (such a hard life!). The sky was clear so we decided to get ready early then walk along the beach to find a spot to watch the sunset.
