Okay so Shanghai is absolutely amazing .. love it love it!! Such a cool and trendy place, shame we're only here for a couple of days really. So our first day here was pretty lazy - visited an aquarium, saw lots of pretty fishes. In the evening we had dinner (obviously!) then went for a gorgeous walk around the bund, which is like a harbour type thing with a beautiful view of the Shanghai skyline - lots of bright lights - quite a sight! Second day in Shanghai was great .. Lauren, Katie and I went to explore the city while we left poor Dani at the hotel as she wasn't feeling very well : ( ... we went out in search of a french quarter that we'd been told about - took quite a while to find but we were more than pleasantly suprised with where we ended up ... a stunning little cobbled street with lots of pish posh restaurants, bars and shops - very european. Had lunch with the girls in a cute, diddy french bistro ... delicious. Went out to a hip hop club (Windows - random name or what?!) later that evening - had so much fun. The next day was fairly chilled psyching ourselves up for our longest train journey yet - yep you guessed it .. a whopping 27 hours - great fun! Best be on my little old way .. love always x x x x
