Up and about early this morning as we had our tour with the Big Apple Greater Laura booked us in with before we left England. He is a local who lives in the Upper West side.
He showed us how to navigate the area and cool places to eat, shop and see.
He took us to John Lennons house and showed us where he was shot.
then we went to the memorial garden in Central Park that Yoko made in his memory. Its really nice and has a mosaic with the song Imagine in it.

After we finished our tour we were in Midtown so carried on walking down Broadway, past the Empire State Building and Times Square. Completely different attmosphere in the day. Lots of people on lunch breaks rushing about.

Had great cheap food from one of the Chinese takeaways. Almost reminded us of China as it was super cheap and really nice.

Watched the Day after Tomorrow in the movie room in the evening. Swear the Statue of Liberty looks way smaller in real life.
