so we got a 6hr bus journey to Dali in which we watched 'cradle to the grave' movie dubbed in chinese and Andy taught me about clouds - science is fun!the scenery was stunning on the way.. the sky was soo blue and clouds so low, i wanted to reach up and touch them.

stopped in service station for peeing- wish we hadnt. it was a discusting 1star. dont think weve explained the star system to you yet....

no star- chinese style squat with no door! flys buzzing.. poo, vomit and pee everywhere

1 star - squat, has a door! minging and smells awful

2 star - squat, door, clean-ish but smells bad

3 star - possibly western toilet! clean but smells

4 star - wersten, reallly clean, doesnt smell, has loo role!

5 star - western, super spotless clean, incesnce burning in each cubicle, bouquest of flowers, self changing toilet seat cover, loo role and soap!

yes, so this is the syestem we use everyday. we have only once experienced the 5star. it was amazing.. i didnt want to leave.
