First thing this morning we had to pack again............... and chuck our stuff in another room ready for the night train later. Today was pretty uneventful.Spent the day wandering around the shops (what a suprise). We have managed to get our washing done finally as all our clothes were covered in mud and stunk after the Gorge. It was getting pretty gross. Signed up for Tai Chi tomorrow morning. Should be a nice and calming before we have to catch our last night train to Hong Kong. Hating the night trains :( N&L

Today we did a cooking class!! we took part and cooked three meals with the help of our chef Linda. vegetarian meal was Aubergine with chilli and garlic. wow it tasted divine! Sweet and sour chicken- who know the secret to perfect sweet and sour sauce was red vinegar and tomato ketchup? watch out uncle wongs!! All packed and ready to go again. We had to get the bus to Lijiang airport for a 50 min flight to Kunming and then for a connecting flight to Guilin where we would catch another bus to Yangshou. Long day of travelling! The flight from Lijiang was not to great due to the aweful weather everywhere it was a bit bumpy. And at one point the plane actually lurched downwards.
