We made breakfast in the campsite kitchen then set off early to get to Wellington. We stopped in town on the way and picked up a New Zealand sim card so that we could actually phone taxis, text home and get on the internet for stuff whilst out and about. Adam had read about an organic winery in a place called Levin that he wanted us to go to on the way. When we got to Levin and found the winery there was no-one there. We were in the reception area for a good five minutes and could hear a TV on in the back room and Adam kept shouting hello but no-one came so we left. We got to Wellington about tea time and parked up and went for a wander around. We went to a place called Cuba Street which is reportedly one of the coolest streets in Wellington... It was pretty cool, they had cool vintage shops and people busking etc, I bet it's better on a weekend than a Monday night in winter! We went in an Irish bar for a drink and to use the wifi to find a campsite, it was a cool bar, they have live music on every night apparently. We stayed a while as they had the Olympics on and we wanted to watch. We set off to find the campsite and took a wrong turn so what should have been a ten minute journey ended up taking about half an hour! When we got there we booked for 2 nights then went to the kitchen and made some tea. We sat in the TV room eating our tea and watching one of the million Scream movies! We text Sunshine now we had a sim card and let her know we were in Wellington and seeing if she fancied meeting up and if she had any suggestions of what to do. She is still in New Plymouth until tomorrow but wanted to know if we want to go out with her on Wednesday night for student night which we said would be cool to stay another night and go out. She gave us loads of suggestions of things to do in Wellington so just going to see what the weather is like tomorrow before deciding what to do.
