Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast is the land of Sky Scrapers, and exactly what Forster is trying so desperatley to become.

Uncle John drove us to our lovley new appartment block which Chris had kindly booked for us, with sea views a pool, gym and a fantastic modern appartment. So Laura basically crashed out in front of the gignatic plasma TV waiting for Chris and Felix to arrive later that evening while Kate went down to the Supermarket to buy some food.

When they did arrive we learnt that Surfers Paradise is the place to stay when you want to go and visit all the theme parks near by which is exactly what Felix wanted to do. So we spent a 3 out of our 4 days going around theme parks which was a nice change but exhausting at least for the adults, Felix never seems to tire. Visited Movie World (Hollywood on the Gold Coast), Sea World (saw all the dolphin and seal shows Laura's favourite park) and White Water World (our first water park ever).

We also had a lovley day on the beach, shopping (Laura bought some sun glasses, something she's been dragging Kate about looking for for 3 months only to have them break the next day!), and playing crazy golf (Laura is the queen of crazy golf, Kate sucks).

We left the next day to head off to Hervey bay, after having some great days catching up with Chris and Felix again.
