21st September We had a nice lie in and Joseph woke us up again with coffee at 7am! Really easy walk downhill for a couple of hours alongside the river with lots of stops and an inca ruin. 20th September At 5am Joseph woke us and brought coca tea and coffee to our tents then breakfast at 5:30. We started walking at 6 and the first two hours were uphill along the river then into the mountain-side, feeling good. 19th September Surprisingly not an early start! The bus picked us up at 8am and we me our tour guide and the rest of our group. There was myself, Lara, Katie, and Serena plus 3 couples in their 50's from Canada and one guy from Australia in his 40's. 10th September First thing some of us took a boat trip around the Ballestas Islands where we saw a million birds, sea lions and penguins, it was beautiful! On the way back to the main land I'm 90% sure I saw a dolphin jump out the water! Only two other girls saw it too, Ellen agreed with me but Claudia thought it was a sea lion.... 9th September: Travel day: lie in then took the fancy night bus in 1st class for 4 hours along the coast from Lima to Paracas. Checked in, dipped me feet in the pool and went for dinner. At the restaurant there was a 'show' which was basically a short movie advertising Paracas whilst being taken up and down 4 flights in a metal ball (very strange).
