Today was our first day of work! We got up at 6:30am and walked the very long minute to our workplace from our accommodation. We had a pretty easy day, it was more of an induction, getting to know everything. The cabins here are cosy and have nice little fireplaces in the new ones. The older cabins arent as nice, but still cosy looking. Our shift ended at 2pm, so a nice short 6 hour day. We'll be working 40hrs per week which is good, with two days off. Not sure...

Today we got up at 8am and went to meet with our co-ordinators to complete our paperwork for our jobs. We stayed at Chateau Jasper staff accommodation for the night which is one of their facilities. When I say 'their', I mean Mountain Park Lodges- the company we are working for.
