We spent the gap in between our buses eating food that wasn't Nutella buns/crisps/ biscuits/ other coach friendly items. First we went to a restaurant that had an interesting table top designs- ours had a ludo board- which we found whilst trying to find the mysterious Thomas Cook we had seen signs for- we wanted to see if we could store our luggage there. We restrained away from the pizza and had a toasted sandwich. Then we walked around to find another place where I had Paneer Tikka with roti and Alice had an egg and chips although the egg was a bit runny. We spent the remaining hour in an internet café (Madgaon was a very boring part of Goa).
I think bus companies try and make it a game to see if you can guess where to catch the bus, as all our ticket said was the K.T.C bus stand, but the bus stand was massive. We saw a group of Zeeta buses, but they told us to wait by the shops. We saw a Mercedes one pull in (our reservation said it would be) so walked towards it, but again was told to go back and wait.
The Zeeta coaches were slightly nicer than the Paulo coach because they had better seats, they played a Bollywood film and gave us blankets to protect us from the air-con.
