After reading on the hotel menu that they served nutella pancakes, breakfast was a bit disapointing. stale toast, chewy chocolate pancakes (because no egg is allowed) and watery porridge eventually filled us up though.
Before departing for Jaipur, we visited the Brahma temple. Our driver told us to be careful of people trying to sell us flowers which can be used as an offering at the shrines.
We tried a travel agent, but no change in railway availability. We also stopped off at a market stall which gave us complimentary coffe (as a display of 'Indian hospitality' and Alice brought a bag with elephants on. When something is double sided they say it is "for Sunday, for Monday".
Our hotel is the best yet- an amazing looking shower (as opposed to a tap halfway up the wall and a memory foam mattress), and our room overlooks the swimming pool, although it's quite cold and we're not sure how to go in it without being too revealing!
We tried to email Antonia, but the driver said it was 45 minutes away to her hotel, although later he drove us to a restaurant, and we passed it on the way.
In Jaipur, we went to Lakshmi Narayun temple. It was built of marble and had stained glass windows which made it the nicest looking temple so far. We saw a bride and groom and it looked like the trail of the grooms turban was tied in a loop around the brides neck (who had a scarf covering her face).
A driver who works at the same company as ours and who has the next in the series no. plate to ours was also here and recommended a restaurant to us, and got us 15% discount. There were dancers as entertainment -one who balanced 5 pots on her head-and a fire eater. Both me and Alice (at different times, I was picked onfirst) were made to go up and dance. I had lentils and kidney beans and 2 roti, and Alice had veg koftes.
We've decided we're going to buy Mahesh (Kumar, our driver [email protected] if anyone wants a chauffeur!) a present as we have grown very fond of him and think of him as our Indian dad. He is going out of his way to be as helpful as possible.

Debby Sounds an interesting trip I'm envious! What would be the dire consequences of buying flowers from these sellers?
