Breakfast today consisted of toast and scrambled egg, choc flake cereal and a vegetable Indian deep fried ball, a spicy pancake type thing and some orange segments and coconut.
on the way to Agra, the diver showed us the red light district, and said some girls start working from the age of 15.
We've become very stingy since discovering price of water is labelled on the bottle and is round about Rs17-18. We refused to pay Rs50 (discounted from 60) at a service station.
We were met outside a marble factory by our tour guide for the Taj Mahal. I think tour guides fancy themselves as photographers as they never let you take the photo you want, and instead boss you around where you should stand, how you should stand and who should be in the photo (he didn't like us both being in the photo). I'm pretending I came with Alice last time as you're less likely to get scammed if you say you're been here before so I couldn't show that it was a new experience.
He took us to a gem inlay shop, and the man inside showed how they made the items. The table ops wee very nice but I'll add those to the list of things I'll come back for when I have the money!
we stayed in the hotel for dinner, Alice had spicy tomato soup and stuffed breads 91 filled with potato, 1 with paneer) and I had pea pilau and a naan which tasted a bit like a croissant, still nice though and couldn't finish my meal!
