Today we are starting our trip, our first stop is Jarklin. Jarklin is where our 2nd cousins live. They live on a farm and have a horse, lots of cats, 2 dogs, sheep and chickens. Our cousins names are Gemma, Ava and Kyen. Ava and I made a secret hide out in a old and rusty shed. The shed is right next to the horses field. The horses name is Mango. There is a door in our hide out that leads to Mango's field and she could fit her head in it but she couldn't get the rest of her body in. So we could feed her. In our hide out it was very, very dirty so we cleaned it up. It took a lot of work and all the time there were a few extra people helping. At the door of the hide out we set up a little ramp so we could wheel our bikes in. When ever we needed a break we got our bikes out and rode it down the dam. It is very bumpy when you ride down it but it is fun.

On the 2nd day it was my favorite part of the holiday so far because it was my 10th birthday. I got $40 from mum and dad. I have not spent it yet but I will later in the holiday. On my birthday I spent my time with my family down at the creek. We did lots of fishing adventuring and we all climbed lots of climbing trees.

On Saturday Ethan, Kyen, Ava and I went on a motorbike. It was cool. Ava and I found it scary, fast and fun. I wanted to do it again. That night there was an amazing eclipse. We could see it really well because there wasn't a single cloud in the sky. The best 4 things about it was being able to see the milky way, all the shooting stars, finding constellations and best of all watching the moon get covered.

I also like Easter, I got a giant egg, 4 medium sized eggs and lots of little eggs. The big egg had popping candy and the little eggs had M&M's, some had Malteasers and some had mars bars in it. They were YUM. The worst bit of our holiday so far would be when we had to leave Gemma, Ava and Kyens. I hated it. I got over it when I found out that our next stop was the Murray river.
