This morning we drove out to Katherine river. We took a cruise out to some gorges. In the middle we needed to get out and walk for a little to get another boat for the next section. The cliffs along the river were beautiful, the man said it was all caused by an earthquake and erosion. We saw some freshwater crocodiles, some little ones and one that was about 1.5 metres long. This morning Charlotte went back to hospital because her arm was really swollen. They told her to take her pain relief. Then we drove to Katherine we are staying at a caravan park where you can walk down to hot springs. We walked down to them for a swim, Charlotte got upset because she couldn't swim, but she did have a paddle. We drove out to Kakadu, it was a long drive. We stopped at the Windows on the Wetlands, it showed us the types of animals and plants in the wetlands. Then we went to Jabiru for lunch, (Ethan rhymed all the places with poo! Like Kakapoo and Jabipoo!) We went to Ubirr (pronounced Obeer) and did the Aboriginal art walk. Today we went to a water park, it was free. Charlotte couldn't come because of her broken arm. There was a big, huge water slide that you used a mat to slide down on. There were 5 red pipes that squirted out water and you could run through them, there was also an umbrella that squirted out water . Today Ethan and l went in the pool, then we spent the day at the shops. Mum did more food shopping because we are going into Kakadu tomorrow. We also got to buys some things, DVDs foreach of us, a hat, thongs and some new clothes for me, a book for Charlotte and a new maths book for Ethan. When we got back to the caravan park we sat and watched Charlotte's movie, A Dolphin Tale. Then mum cooked carbonara for dinner, yum!
