We left home on what looked like a good day. We drove into the reserve and decided to stop and have a swim at one of the many tidal pools. The beach was empty and we were quite sheltered from the wind. As there was nobody i decided to go for as wim in the buff, pretty cool! After lunch it was time for the short walk up to the old lighthouse for a lookout over the Cape of Good Hope but by the time we reached the top the cold air from the atlantic side had started to mix with the warm air from the indian side and the rolling clouds started to cover the landscape.

It was a good day out even though the weather turned and we will go back at a later stage as Briege really enjoyed the beaches and it's only a short drive from home.

We are going to do lots of sightseeing this week so you can expect a few more blogs.
