We stayed a night in johannesburg with some of Laynes mates who kindly let us invade. The next day we headed off on a 5hr drive to the south of the Kruger park and arrived in a camp called Crocodile Bridge. We stayed in a safari tent overlooking 'the bush' but luckly had a fence to protect us from the hyenas who patrolled at night looking for food. We went on a sunset drive and saw ellies, white rhino, giraffes, hyenas, buffalo and a rare glimpse of cheetahs. During a nice braai that evening I was attacked by massive bugs and flys and also almost stood on a big scorpian....nice...i hate the bush. The next day we drove to a camp where we spent 2 days viewing game and lazing around in the hot sun trying to get a tan as all of Laynes mates had been laughing at how pale we both were! We saw loads more ellies, lots of Impala (we also had Impala kebabs for tea, yum), rhino, oher types of deer, hippos, crocs but westill hadn't seen the elusive Lion or leopard which was really annoying. One of my favourite things was watching two elephants playing and swimming around in a lake...cool! The next day we drove to our final camp to stay in a luxury riverside hut, nice. We finally saw the lion....its hard to spot cos it spends all day lying down..and a leopard up a tree in the distance. another great thing was that i beat layne in a swimming race.....yey....now for the running race!
