Home sweet Home!! The boys fed the parrots at Goughs Bay this morning while Jeff and I cleaned up. We checked out Lake Eildon, which is looking as lovely as ever, grabbed a coffee at our favorite Mansfield cafe - "The Witches Brew", then headed home! We have done 22, 085km in 98 days.

We left Bomaderry about 8am this morning and drove through beautiful Kangaroo Valley to get to the Hume Hwy. Once on the Hume I really felt like we were going home! We stopped at the dog on the tuckerbox for lunch, then drove to Greta West to see Cathy and Daniel in their lovely new home before finally getting to Goughs Bay. It is nice to be at Goughs Bay tonight, almost like home but I am excited to get home tomorrow - looking forward to seeing Hayley, sleeping ...

We had a lazy day at Jill and Verne (Grandma and Grandpa)'s yesterday and today. Yesterday Grandma took the boys swimming at the local pool; and Jeff and Kaidan went for a quick fish at Greenwell point but caught nothing :(. Today it really feels like our adventure is over. Jeff and I now have colds and we all just wanted to stay in the nice big warm house today - We didn't want to go for a drive, go to a lookout or go for a walk. We are in familiar territory an...

We drove down to Sydney this morning from Bulahdelah. I love the highways through the mountains around Sydney. The sun is shining on a beautiful winters day - We drove across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and walked to the steps of the Opera House and around the botanical gardens. This wad the boys first visit to Sydney. We are now on our way to Grandma's and Grandpa's house

We drove all day today, all looking forward to getting home and it is cold outside. We briefly drove through the tourist towns of Byron Bay (photo), Lennox Heads and Coffs Harbour. We are spending the night in a motel (our first and only motel this trip) in Bulahdelah.
