Our Scotland Experience Scotland is a really beautiful We arrived in Inverness first after a 13 hour overnight bus journey then took a 2 hour train ride to get to Kyle of Lochalsh. The Scottish highlands are such an amazing place with the most unreal country side. We then got a 45 minute car ride out to Kinnloch lodge (we had no idea it was going to be so isolated), there was nothing out there what so ever. We saw the Moulin rouge, it was pretty good, but I expected much more from “World class dancers”. We got a free bottle of Champagne with it and we were sitting so close to the stage I thought I was going to get a kick in the head and a few feathers from their costumes went up my nose (it all adds to the value of the performance though) The next day we had a picnic in the park in front of the Eiffel tower to celebrate (or commiserate) the end of our trip.
