Got up around 8am today, and got ready and packed our bags, and caught a taxi into town, where we bought tickets for a bus into Brisbane and a train into Bundaberg. We went to the Great Northern for a few beers before we left, then bought a 6pack and a few snacks from the bakery for the ride. On the drive into Brisbane, we met a couple of German guys, who we chatted to for most of the way. Got into Brisbane after a stopover in Surfers Paradise. When we got to Brisbane station, we went up to the platform to catch the train, and waited for about an hour then got on. The train trip took 4 ½ hours, and we listened to cd’s, and had some tea; Penne Pasta/Moroccan chicken. Then when we finally got into Bundaberg, Jan and Michael were at the station waiting for us, and we went out to Bargara. We put our stuff up in the guest room upstairs, and said hi to Grandma, Grandpa and Jake and pretty much went straight to bed.
