Kya Travels
Woke up around 10, and Nik, Zayne, Robyn and William went to Nik’s grandparents place. Darren and I got ready, and Jan, Sam and Jake came round for a bit, and after they left we put on some washing and chilled out in the lounge for a bit. Then Grandma and Grandpa came around to pick us up and took us around to Jan’s. Everyone was there, and we had a BBQ, with vege burgers/meat burgers, pasta salad etc. I went for a swim in the pool, and then took William in for a swim with me. Then mum and dad came over, and dad came in for a swim too. After that we sang happy birthday to Sam, and had some cake. We hung around there for a while before heading back to Nik’s to get ready for the party. We all showered and dressed up then headed into Bundaberg, to a place called The Met. We went to the upstairs part, and it was set up pretty nice, with balloons and couches and stuff. Had a few drinks and hung out with everyone for a while, then they had a massive mud cake, and did some speeches. Then we hung out there for a bit longer, and Michael, Jan, mum and dad did some silly dancing, and then they left to go to another place. Shortly after that, we left with Nik, Sam, Johanna and Sam’s friends Ben and Sim. We went to a place called The Club, where there was a Jazz band playing, but they were almost finished their set when we got there so we only saw a few songs. Lined up to get a drink there, and the adults all left to go home, and Nik and that left to go to the next place. We got our drinks, and after that we went to The Central. We met up with the others there, and had a few more drinks. We also saw some of the English guys from the pub the other night. We stayed there until about 1-1.30, and then Sam wanted to go home, so we split a cab with him and Johanna. Before we left we went to a kebab shop, cos Sam wanted a kebab, but Johanna wouldn’t let him have one! So I got some dolmades, and we went back to Niks place. Said goodbye to Sam and Johanna, then they kept going on to Jans place. Then we went to bed.
