Today we had some pretty rubbish weather so we actually spent the morning writing up our journals and watching Bondi Rescue in our room! It's very strange watching Bondi Rescue when your in Sydney!
In the afternoon once the rain had stopped we headed out to an indoor market which had hundreds of stalls selling everything from boomerangs to sunglasses. We picked ourselves up some aussie souvenirs and headed back home to get changed.
In the evening we visited the opera house to watch La Soirée. First we headed to a lovely restaurant next to the opera house to have some dinner which was very nice, although the seagulls thought so too and spent the whole time trying to poo around us, in the hope we would be distracted!
When we arrived in the opera house we could take a seat anywhere on our level so we took front row seats, although the stage was in the middle and had seating circled around it.The show was amazing and was a mix of cabaret and circus acts. I would thoroughly recommend it, if you ever get the chance to see it.
After the show we took a walk around the quay to take some photos of the opera house and bridge at night which was a lovely end to a good day.
