So, time to play catch up!
My first trip, most graduation (graduation that I didn't attend...ha) was to Colorado. My now ex-coworker, Alison coridally invited me out and back to her hometown area. Our other co-worker Justin C. and I flew out together and met Alison and her husband Joe.
We then had a fun filled week of beer drinking (I mean, it is Colorado, after all)....
I'm trying to think of highlights. I think doing this blog "real-time" will be much more beneficial, but I don't want to neglect trips I already took!
1.) We went to two breweries and my dear, do I LOVE beer. I think I have a bit of a tendency to be a man when I drink. And one of the breweries had a slide that I went down. It was awesome.
2.) You know, for instance, when we went to Estes Park to stay at Joe and Alison's friend Dan's "cabin" (cabin is in quotes because it was actually like a legit house that was nice...) we were playing drinking games. Me and a bunch of guys. Duh. And at one point I had to chug a beer...well, they decided they would take a smoke break because OBVIOUSLY I would take FOREVER to chug the beer. I don't think they had time to get their cigs out before I was done. It's the little things in life, you know?
3.) The guys, like idiots, walked on the forever lake. Good idea....
4.) OMG I shot a gun for the first time and actually hit the target. Eventually I think I'll get my license so I can be official and seriously, why not?
5.) I ate Rocky Mountain Oysters. Google it.
6.) I met a guy, but that's over now...so no need to discuss it. Ha.
7.) We went bowling and I think the altitude made me worse. Yeah, that's what I'll say it was....ahem.
8.) AND last, but not least, Alison's mom made us spanish food one night and it was delicious.
