Today we travel to Swakomund and we have decided to go quad biking in the desert. We got suited and booted and then jumped on the quads for a 2 hour drive around the dunes. Kate was the first one to get stuck and then Sarah! Niamh took the lead and held it pretty much the whole 2 hours. Kerry, Kate and Sarah got relegated to the medium group as we couldn't keep up with the rest of the people! After quad biking it was a quick shower and change and out for a group dinner! The dinner was really nice and the Savingon Blanc was going down very nicely. We then moved next door for a spot of Karoke. Kerry & Roland were first up with a duet of Dancing Queen. The whole night was great until Sarah, Kate and Niamh took over the mic and sang Rehab! Most of the group left around 12 but we decided it was too early so headed towards Grunz. The only club in Swakumoud. We partied the night away and the beer and doubles were flowing. Kate had to drag the rest of us out at 3.30 which made a nice change! We got a lift back to the hostel by one of the guys from the quad biking....Luckily our tour guide Hette wrote the name of the place we were staying at on Kates arm otherwise we would have never have gotten home. Finally got tucked up for bed around 4.30!
