Round the World Trip
Today we woke up and had a long 10 hour journey to the Namib Desert. We arrived at Camp around 2.30/3 and had a dip in the pool. We then went to the pub and just chilled out and had a few pinot's and savana drys! We have now quite established the people that we like in the group have initated them into the family- Kerry is now known as Mammy, Kate, Sarah and Niamh are the daughters and we have Hunky Unky Roland,Bubba who is Chris and Daddy who is Ben! All really nice guys that we have adopted. The whole group seem really nice, there are a lot of characters but Hette the tour guide said she has never known a group to bond so quickly and go out on the third night as a group for drinks! It is only the first week though.

Nan Mu Hi Kerry and all, Sounds like you are having a great time. I heard all about your sky dive - what a wonderful experience. Pleased that you have 'bonded' with the group as this is so important. Heard too about the scorpions - how scary. As it happens we were watching a programme about Namibia and saw they showed the scorpions and explained how dangerous they were. You had a lucky escape. I expect you are missing Anthony - he certainly is missing you according to Natalie. In fact all the family miss you and hoping you will keep safe and continue to have a great time. Lots of love, Nan
