Well, Koh Lanta did rain- a lot! Was miserable weather for 3 days, but we stilll managed to have lots of fun as we met some really nice people in our guesthouse (well actually, we met them in the bar). We stayed on a really lovely quiet beach called Kantieng Beach on the south of the island. We spent the first main day we were there in bed with little hang-overs due to lethal drinking games instigated by an ozzy bloke we met there. Something to do with buckets and sangsom and dice. Also met a lovely couple from UK- Rebecca and Tim (hi guys- and no, Krys still hasn't worked out the game!) so all in all had a good few nights. Despite the dull weather we hired a bike and went round the island, visited a really nice little fishing village on the beach, where the locals were keen to show us their eagles! There were also lots of crabs with one big claw which they waved in the air, which was really funny cos it looked like on gladiators when they wave the big hands 'we will,we will, rock you' stylee. Anyway, we're now leaving Thailand for Malaysia. Hope all's well. Toni and Krys x
