Krys & Toni's World Adventure
This one is especially for Callum as we know you regularly read this. Glad you like the photos, Auntie Toni misses you lots.
We stayed in Kanchanaburi about 2 and a half days, whenever we tell people about it they go "eh, where?" until we tell them that's where the bridge over the river Kwai was and then they realise, mostly, some still say "eh, where?".
First day we cycled around a bit looking at the sights, ie the bridge and a museum. The next day we went to this waterfall which is in a national park nearby. They were really picturesque. It was really a long river with lots of tiers/pools that you could swim in. There were 7 main tiers spread over about 2 and a bit kilometers, and all the pools had fish in them that would suck/nibble at you as you sat/swam/walked around in them. It felt a bit wierd and Toni found it too wierd and she didn't spend too long in the water.
Most recent monkey update - as we were walking back to the bottom of the falls our path through the jungle/forest was blocked by some swinging monkeys/satan. Toni became a little (a lot) scared and we had to back track a little and wait for them to disappear, meanwhile i was worried we were going to miss our bus back to town.........only kidding.
