OK, shouldn't have joked about weather in England. It has chucked it down here all day. Not just some english style drizzle we are talking down pours. Its been quite refreshing really.

Any way, we have done all the tourist sites in the rain. There really aren't that many. We found a bit of beach but you can't go on it in case a crocodile eats you, fair enough really.

Sandra - you will be pleased to know we have had pies!!! Lovely yummy pies. Truely converted to the Ozzie pie now, so thank you very much. Haven't found any Darrel Lee yet but we will keep you updated.

Went round a museum and were acossted by an elderly gentleman who made us do some really weird things (pictures to follow). Also found the greatest set of scales in the world ever - B weighs in at 9 stone and i come in at an amazing 8 and a half stone!!!! HA! I knew travelling would be good for me! Self dellusion is as wonderful thing.

Also if you are ever in Cairns and see a sign for a certain fast food resturant that says it is only 4 minutes away, they lie!!! When you've hit the 40 minute walk mark you just have to keep walking on principle. So don't fall for it and avoid the temptation of the golden arches (god damn the hot fudge sundaes at only $1.75)!!!!
