This morning we left Galway early to tour and sing at Kylemore Abby. Kylemore Abby is about a 2 hour bus ride outside of Dublin. It is known for being a place of escape and rest for nuns during WWI, and then after that became an all-girls boarding school. The school was in existence until 2010 and now is available for tours. Today we left Killarney for Galway. I have previously been to Galway with Jason, Anne and Joe so I was looking forward to stopping at a place that was somewhat familiar to me. Along the way there, we stopped at the Cliffs of Mohr. The Cliffs are on the west coast of Ireland and are known for their magnificent views.
