We arrived via train and decided to spend 2 nights in London so we could see more sights and Jason could catch his early flight on the 5th. This morning Jason and I took the train from Liz and Dave's house into London, which was just a little over an hour train ride. When we arrived, we quickly went straight away to Buckingham Palace to see the change of the guard. Buckingham Palace is where the Queen currently lives and has lived since she was named queen in 1953. For the change of the guard, we immediately squished ourselves in with hundreds of other people like little sardines to see the display....

After a crazy day walking around London, I was looking forward to a bit more of a relaxing day with the Prince family. Liz decided to take us to Canterbury, which is a cute city with a winding River, an old cathedral and adorable small pedestrian streets lined with shops and restaurants. Today was our first day in The UK and we are staying with Jason's friends, Liz and Dave, just outside of London. They have a beautiful, large home which was built in the 1800's, 2 rambunctious kids and a cat.
