Today has been a pretty low key day. Our walk last night led us to the beach and all the beach bars so we didn't get back to our room for bed until 3am. Perhaps the red bull in our bucket kept us up or going ahead another 5 hours in time. Probably a combination of the two. We ended up hanging out at "stones bar" where the party was happening. This morning has been the perfect day. The weather is amazing! Hot and sunny. We woke up at 7 with Niki, for some reason, singing Kale's favorite song "the bear went over the mountain" haha thanks Kris and Randalin. We packed up all our things. Check out was at 11 so by 750 we were at the pier in search of a taxi boat. We found a guy willing to take us for 2 hours in his long tail boat for 1000 Thai baht. It was a tough one waking up this morning. I think the nights of little sleep caught up to us. We got up early and repacked our bags to fit out carry on bags inside and went to check out. We got our tickets for the ferry to Koh Phi Phi and waited for the driver to pick us up in front of our guest house. It was a little sad to leave Cairo behind us. Once you see its charm it is a beautiful place! However the show must go on and that was but a side stage performance! A grand one but a short one.
