We got a little bit of bad news this morning about Thailand. Air Asia decided to change our flight time from Surat thani to Bangkok from 845pm to 805 am. We will be far from the Surat Thani airport the night before at Khao Sok national park and definitely won't be making our new flight time. Not a big deal since we found out now thanks to technology and not at the airport wondering why the plane left over 12 hours early. We will have to try and contact them for either a refund and take a more expensive airline or hopefully reschedule.
Today was a nice relaxing day. We slept in then had breakfast, showered and were brought oranges to eat as a snack before lunch. We visited with Niki's cousin Petra and her mom while trying some slivovice that was made by a friend of theirs. Slovak moonshine. It is pretty tasty for a 50% booze haha.
We had some schnitzel for lunch and sat around visiting. Around 2pm Niki's aunt Olga drove us back to Rača.
Once we arrived we had coffee And cookies with Babi and Dedo and took some pictures.
After coffee we went with Babi on the bus to the grocery store and loaded up on all the good Slovak stuff - klobasa tons of different cheese, fanta, chocolate, and yogurts. Haha very delicious. While waiting for the bus home we went into a crazy pet store. They had all the usual pets like mice etc. Then they had crazy stuff like huge parrots, a couple of chipmunks, some small monkeys, a massive python, a random assortment of cave dwelling gross white blind fish, and a 2 foot long alligtor like creature.
When we made it back we had some sandwiches then tea and are now taking it easy around the apartment.
You know you have it good when your biggest complaint is never feeling hunger only full and fuller. Oh and in this post I forgot to mention our breakfast and afternoon shots of bitters and dinner beer. All the booze is just normal now I don't even remember to write about it.
