Time To retype this entry. Just wrote a long post and passed the phone to Niki to read it and accidentally hit cancel. Bye bye post.
Basically flight here was great we each had 2 free glasses of red wine with our airplane food feast and were able to get 4 hours of interrupted light sleep (feel for you Kris and Randalin)
We arrived here in Rome to follow signs for connecting flights only to find a huge line up and an unorganized security check. You know in case the airport you just left missed something hidden in your shoe. (yes they were checking some shoes via X-ray)
Once we made it through there we decided to exchange $50 to euros so we would have money to take the bus from Vienna to Bratislava. Big mistake there. The rate looked fine. It was better than in Toronto but the commission and other fee were a bit of a d*** move by them.
After that it was off to the next big line for passport check. Niki is no longer in charge of line picking. We were in the slowest one and while there 5 people shouldered the way in front of us and a guy with his baby. 2 other people ignored the line completely and went direct to the front and through. Now that's service!
Now we sit and wait for our connecting flight. Some sort of alarm going off really annoyingly and a gross smell. Gotta love airports!
Not sure when I will get to upload this post but it is around 940 am. Aka 340 am

Lenka Hello Niki & Kyle, you just learned the first lesson. Forget that you are polite Canadians - you have to become rougher travellers in Europe & Asia, ha, ha.
Ed Murphy Europe... no such thing as a "line".... in the UK however if you stop to look up at a building people will que up behind you thinking its the lineup for something...
Randalin 2 glasses of FREE wine and 4 HOURS of sleep?! Sounds like the best vacation EVER to me.
Michelle How come I got wind of this through my mother! No direct link for me? Scoff! Perposterous!! haha I think we flew into Rome together when we flew Alitalia that time we thought the plane was going to crash... am I right Niki, or was that Milan? Either way, I remember it being probably the worst airport EVER... ghlad you guys survived it and made it to Slovakia safe and sound... I heard babi made it all better with schnitzel and rum cake ;)
