QUEENSTOWN!!!

Wednesday - Bright and early we all Franz Joseph and drove to arrowtown....allllllllllll day drive it took forever!!! On route stupid silly alex got us stuck in some mud! But literally after only after being stuck for about 5 mins some kiwi lady pulled over and asked if we were stuck, and got a tractor out in minutes!! So all was fine, everyones so nice here!! Finally.....later that day we arrived at Sians cousins in this amazing little ski resort like little town. Its so cosy and sweet and lovely!! FREEZING! minus 4!!!!!!!!!!!! Surrounded by snow capped mountains....its just stunning! Her cousins are lovely....and that night we got fed a ROAST dineer!!! Had snacks, wine, ice cream! But i was sooo ill, and allergic to there dog....so i was feeling a little down in the dumps!

Thursday - I was still pretty damn ill today but was nice to wake up in a bed and in a warm house that we could actually stand up in and have a shower!!! Amazing!! We later on in the day went into town and had a look around....looked at some bungy videos............SO scary!!!! Made me want to back out! The town in stunning.....like a little ski resort town its so pretty. Its funny because it gets so bitterly cold here but in the summber it can get up to 45!! Mad!!! In the evening we came back to Sians cousins...were fed stu! And cheese and bisuits!! Then we went out into town to meet some freinds and had a good old night out with people weve met along the way from cars, vans, and the kiwi bus!

Friday - After having a lovely old lie in!! We all went into town to book our bungy.... and its booked for sunday!! oh my gooooooooooooooood! Alex is doing his saturday though because hes so scared that he just needs to do it now before he backs out!! We saw the girls again from the Kiwi bus who took us to the english sweetie shop!! Ahhhhhhhhhh its an old school sweet shop with all old english sweets, crisps, food...everything. Its incredible!! So i bought some hola hoops....a dip dap, a refresher...and a tea cake chocolate foamy thing i used to have from waitrose!!! Made me so happy!!! Such a lovely guy who owns it too..your allowed to try all the sweets from the jars too, so i tried sweet bananas abd a jelly baby!! After all the excitment we came back to sians cousins....and made dinner and had a cosy night in!

SATURDAY - Moochy old day today, followed by a manic evening! Oh wait no I forgot - Dave and Sharon took me and Sian to a local rugby match!! Yay!! Was lots of fun, and FREEZING!!!!!!!!!!!! One local guy was there in a jacket and these short shorts things!! Crazy man - was nice to see a local Dearby thought!!

Then came the evening...........we went to dinner at the imfamous FERG BURGER.

This is a like a gormet burger joint in town which is honestly world famous!! Everyone we meet who has been to new zealand who knew we were going was like, oh my god GO TO FERG BURGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we went, was everyhing we dreamed off!! SO GOOD! They are massive, so Sian and me shared a codfather burger.....the wait for it was like the longest 10 minutes of my life, then WE ATE IT! AND IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER!!!!!!!!!!

So to celebrate our burger, and Alex's skydive we had a big night out! Met the girls Ami and Sophia, and the boys Johny and Andy and drank int he hostel in there room and had a VERY very very messy evening!!!!!!!!! Oh dear.....still managed to keep my cool in wacking out some good pool though.....hilarious night....so much fun!! All these guys are oign to be in Fiji when we ae too, but they are there a few days before us so thinking of moving our flight forward! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

SUNDAY - BUNGY JUMP DAY!!!!!!!! So I went STRAIGHT from base trying to find siany poo!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally found her, and got some clothes to be toasty warm! I was surprisngly, crazily calm!! I think I was to hungover to realise exactly what I was letting myself in for!!! WE got the bus up, all suited up, weighed!!! Realised i have lost a harnise of weight since my sky dive!! I was in the smallest weight group, and last to jump as smallest goes last.....! I was SO calm! We were told about what we had to do when we got to the bottom, you have to pull this chord from your foot on your second bounce to bring you up so your upright to be pulled up, and the lady was like but i bet at least half you wont be able to pul it because your girls, and i was like WHATEVER! Im going to be strong enough!!! I was super super exicted and coping very well if i do say so myself! They firstly put on your feet thingby bobs which look like nice leg warmers...then take you over to this chair thing and sort you all out, wack on the old bungy (still calm!!!!!!!!), he called me his little ninga jedhi! Then you shuffle on over in a penguin type walk thing walking at about 00000.1 miles an hour!!! Then i got there and was fine, but suddenly was like......I CANT DO THIS!!!!!!!! I CANT DO IT!!! See....i always dramatise everything when im not actually that scared, but i was actually like..NOOO but then he was like "feel the force!"

AND I WENT!! Straight away, amazing dive if i may say so!!!

Did myself a lil quick scream then was shouting oh god oh god oh god oh god for a bit, IT WAS SO WEIRD!!!!!!!!! That first 3 seconds of just falling into NOTHINGness was so weird and i was terrfied!! Then the closer to the floor you get, the tighter the rope gets so i was a little less scared!! WAS SO GOOD! Then muggins here, cos shes so determined to pull the chord, pulls it on her first bounce! So didnt get as much time upsidown, but i did it, lalalallala!!! HAHA, stupid woman who thought I couldnt!! Then puuuuuuuuuuuuullllllllled all the way back up! WOOP!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO GOOD!

Monday - Wine tour with David!!! Took us to 3 wineries........Chard farm, then gibson for wine and a tour by Claudio and then a last one which i cant remember the name of because we had allllllllllot of wine!! Delish lunch though with soup, cheese, wine and a bit fay YUM!!!!!!!!!!! In the evening we just kinda of chilled out, watched the tv, had a cheese fondue!! Was Cute!!

Tuesday - Had a VERY stressful day today!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sian and I went into STA to move our Fiji flights forward so we could go the same time as the girls and book tours etc....oh. my.god. so stressful!! We tried to re book the flights but because it had to be confirmed in the uk lalala time difference, lala - its hurting my head trying to descirbe it! Basically its all very worrying, credit cards doing silly things, and we're waiting on confirmation before we can get excited so when we have i wil lbe SUPER excited!!! So after that very stressfull morning - Sian, Alex and me were recommended a drive by Sharon (sians cousins wife) which was about 40k to Glenorgy. Oh my goodness, it was so crazy beautiful I cant even put it into words!! Every corner we drove around it was more beautiful! Im getting so used to this incredible scenery nothing is ever going to compare, it was STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And my photos do it no justice - your looking around you and its so colourful - its like looking at an oil painting! The waters a crystal clear, the trees are all a million different colours - and the weather is so gorgeous right now! I mean right now, its -9 deggrees but its so crisp and clear blue sky, everythings snowy and frosty and just beautiful!!! So after our wonderful drive - we went out in the evennig! Met Sophia and Ami in FERG BURGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My second Ferg Burger - went for a chicken one this time..............equally as incredible and mouth wateringly tastyful out of this world as the codfather! woop! Then after we all went to the ice cream shop next door as well! They had such good ice cream! Like apple crumble flavour, lemon cheesecake - all with the real bits in! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! And they do loads of cool styuff to like waffles, and then like these toastie icecreams abit like brioche, where they have this bread, but ice cream in it - then toast it!! SO GOOD!

So after the amazement of food - we all went out and celebrated the girls last night in Queenstown - will be seeing them next in christchurch!

Wednesday - We didnt really do to much today - apart from lots of skype dates with my freinds from home! Then we went into town, and Sian and I sorted alllllllllll our Fiji stuff so panic over!! Then we both bought matching kids watches........as walter sadly died!!!! Then we went off separartly for 2 hours to buy each others birthday presents as both our birthdays our in Fiji!! Luckily we didnt bump into each other although at one point i walked into the card shop and saw her, so i hid behind a bookcase until she left! Must of looked like i was shop lifting or something!!! Was funny, but all worked out ok!! In the evenig David and Sharon were out so the 3 of us got takeaway, (Thai and indian) and then had a film night and photo bakcing up!!.

Thursday - Today we were planning on moving onto Christchurch but we got a little side tracked trying to pack and didnt get into see Arrowtown until late so we've decided to go tomorro morning instead and stay with Sians cousins another night!! So yes, in the morning we had packing trauma's - and what to throw out fits and shipping worries! Lots of fun, but before that I got up at 6.45 to watch the football!!! United - Barcelona! Was fun but tres tired now!! Then after thatr Sian and I had a Skype date with CAROLINE!! Caroline was the gil from the inca trail who stayed with us for a week after, LOVE HER!!! Was so nice to speak to her!!! After that we went into Arrowtown and had a look around, saw the town, had chips, took pics of the pretty River and the trees!! So many pretty tree's its crazy!!!!!!!!!! I found my most favorite tree in the world too - the one in the photos that is a mulitcoloured amazment of tree! I actuall love it - I named it my pretty tree!!

Friday - Writing in advance now as will my last time i can get to a comp in newzealand so will just tell you what we plan to do instead!! We'l be leaving David and Sharons in the morning first thing........and driving to Christchurch which apparently is like a mini england. We'l spend friday night chilling in a hostel with everyone and cooking in!

Saturday - Today we'l do lots of bitty things like sending postcards...shipping things home...buyin stuff for Fiji......then seeing Christchurch!! Then in the evening - the 3 of us are going to go out for dinner......then have one last night out (As will be our last night with Alex!!)

Sunday - Leaving day!!! David and Sharon will bein Christchurch today as they are doing a Marathon - so at 9am we are going to go watch them start......then at 11 we need to be at the airport to get our plane to FIJI!!!!!!!!!!!! Connecting flight through Aukland, then off to Fiji that night from there and will be on Nadi in Fiji at 9pm!!!!!!!! Ready to sun it up on the 1st of June, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!

Dont think I will have nay internet connection in Fiji so I doubt anybody will hear from me in 2 weeks.....including over my birthday which is rubbish!!!!!!! But I'm going to try, as otehrwise I'l be sad on my birthday with no contact from home!!

ANYWAY -

so thats Newzealand. Its been amazing, beautiful, crazy, fun, and freezing!!! Met up with some of my favorite people from South america, and made some lovely lovely lovely freinds who im going to miss lots!! But looking forward to seeing Ami, Sophia, PJ, Johny and Andy in Fiji though for my birthday, woooooooooo!
