Im really sorry - i just wrote the hugest blog known to man, literally just took me about 3 hours and i just lost the whole thigng. I i can write it all again, im beyond gutted!! im sorry, it ws a masive ctach up on the last 5 months....
Basically i did the east coast after cainrs for a month, arlie, 1770, fraser, sufers, noosa, and bryon.
hers sians blog sum up - i cant write mine all again!! : -
Some of you may know that tomorrow, as in 13th of Jan myself and Kate will be leaving OZ :( and heading over to Asia on a new adventure. I am very excited but scared as well, made ourselves a little family over here and it makes me sad that I won't see them all again for quite some time. Anyway, my point here is that once in Asia i have made a promise to myself that I am going to get back on the blogging so you can all expect more frequent updates on what im doing and where i am.
I haven't told anyone really about what we've done since leaving cairns, so i'll give you all a breif over view. We left Cairns (sobbing may i add) and went down to Airlie beach where we went on a 3 days boat trip of the Whitsunday Islands....whitehaven beach is by far the most beautiful thing ive seen in Australia, bar a bunch of jagerbombs lined up at my beloved Rhinobar haha! Jokes.
From Airlie we went to a small little town called 1770 where we drove motorbikes, kayaked (we got split up from our kayak for talking too much haha) and LEARNT TO SURF, which is near enough impossible, especially when you have boobs. Like seriously, everytime i got up on the board a boob would pop out, nightmare. I refused to give up and i did win a prize wooop!!
Next was Fraser Island from Rainbow Beach, which was an experience and a half. Fraser is the worlds largest sand dune, and the sand gets everywhere and i mean everywhere. We drove off in this hectic jeep and toured ourselves round the crazy torain of the island, getting very very stuck in the sand more often that we'd of liked. We had lots of fun....although not with the people in our group who were all boring couples, so we found other people to hang out with...and protect us from the dingos.
Noosa was next on the greyhound stop....with a visit to Steve Irwin's zoo which was AMAZING, crocs rule. Then it was a 3 day canoeing trip along the Noosa Everglades which was so much fun. Me and kate spent 3 days serinading our third team member, olly, he loved it ha!! We did our infamous version of defying gravity (im surprised he didnt throw us both over into the river)....we went swinging off trees and of course had a drink in Queenslands oldest pub, something just have to be done.
The coast went so quickly, once we go to Surfers Paradise we arranged to meet up with friends from Cairns and had lots of fun....and we went to wet n wild, guess what, we got so wet and so wild haha!! Byron Bay was next...where we basically joined the circus. We stayed in THE coolest hostel, Arts Factory and we slept in a big tp tent, loved it despite the cold air at night. In Byron we went for a trapeze lesson which was OMG INSANELY INCREDIBLE....we were flying through the air, hanging upside down, being caught and then flipping back onto the net, was so much fun although we ached for days after!
It took us just over 3 wks of fun to get down to SYDNEY...where we have been since Nov 2nd....!! We've been living in Bondi Junction so right near the beach and nto far from the city...i love my life!! We started work for a bar called the gaff however i wasnt too impressed and we quit after 6 wks to work full time on SUNBURNT CHRISTMAS and SHORETHING...concerts on xmas day and nye down on bondi. Both jobs involved us being down on bondi beach 4-5 hours everyday....in the sun....what you gonna do haha!! Sunburnt was amazing, 5000 people rocking away on bondi on xmas day and shorething was 20,000 on nye rocking away to 3 of the worlds greatest dance dj's!! Both were a sucess despite the rain on xmas day.
I have had so so so much fun in sydney....dec 16th til well noww has just been one huuuuge party,!! Over xmas i didnt make it home 4 nights in a row cos i was too budy partying....day and night, no sleep!! I dont know how i did it but it was the best xmas ive ever had! So much fun, i cant even talk about it without having the biggest smile across my face. Me and Kate did the whole xmas morning thing, with Leanne (our friend from cairns who moved in with us....love you jooooneeees you welsh lunatic) and philippa my friend from home. We dressed up in childrens tutu, had candy canes, went on a harbour cruise on xmas eve, saw the fireworks over the bridge on nye (spectacular) and went to a concert on new years day (space) and went mental!!
The thought of leaving really is sad for me, i feel like ive made my own family out here and i have defo landed on my feet so i am proud of myself for everything i feel i've achieved here.
We've been in Melbourne for the weekend and are now back in Sydney for our last night out with friends..then we fly to thailand tomorrow, via darwin and singapore haha, so we dont actually get there til thursday, gotta love sleeping in the airport. The other day we didnt sleep as we didnt have a hostel so we hung out on the beach til our flight, we get such clever ideas at time.
We;re goign to be in Thailand for 2.5 wks before going to cambodia for 6 wks to teach dance and english which im sure is going to be a very rewarding experience.
So yes, I will be blogging more from now on!
Im sorry that thats not mine, but i cant write mine all again!!
Everyone dnot hate me, im now on the bloggin again, all me - all my writig!! ahhhhhhhhhhhh IM SO UPSET I JUST LOST ALL MY OWN WRITING!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
