HOLA!!

A big fat hello from Brasil......I have just had the best week of my life!!!

Its hard to find a place to start as all the amazingness has sort of merged into one big ball of awesomeness but I'l attempt to put it into some sort of order!!

So last time we spoke I'd of been in Leblon in Rio, doing all of the Rio type things and then we moved onto staying in Copacabana...in the hostel Mellow Yellow, party hostel central. Oh what a week! Huge hostel...ad being the budgeters that we are we stayed in the cheapest room which was a 24 bed dorm! madness, but hilarious and so much fun...despite the air con never working!

Our first night there we just met everyone and had a quiet one before launching into the madness. The nexy day we had the boat party, SO MUCH FUN!!! Firstly the hostel had the ship 150 people from the hostel half way accross rio on the metro which was hilarious to get to our boat. Free booze and food all day, music - and awesome people. We had he funniest day, danced, drank, jumped off boats, swam in the sea...but clever clogs here lost her only pair of shoes she had left. So my drunken decision was to find any two shoes I could, so i did! Party finished, so we make our way back to the hostel, there I am..strolling about in two random odd flip flops onthe metro - until one of them gets stolen back!!! So I have one flip flop, thats isnt even mine, and I cried all the way home...but then we drank some more so it was all fine, Best day!!!

Friday we went to a Market caled Uraguana..which was nice and bustly and mad! Got some nice clothes, and intended o buy some more shoes, but didnt! In the evening we went out to Lapa again with the hostel and had lots of fun! We made lots of freinds, and really good freinds with a guy called Chris and some Irish Guys which was cool so they looked after us!

Saaaturday..we beached it up and then strutted our stuff in CARNIVAL!!!! AHHH SO COOL! We had a samba lesson, then a costume fitting, was hilarious.....we were fruit bowles, literaly bright lime green with fruit on our heads!!! We strutted it down the Sambadrome infront of packed crowds, was the best feeling!! I have been in RIO CARNIVAL, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! After that we then went out to Impanema and had another awesome evening!!

Sunday, BLOCO!!!! Bloco's are street parties for Carnival, which me and Sian went to with Some London boys that we met on the boat party. It was Incredible, one of the best days! Drinking, dancing, dressing up! Hilarious day, streets were packed, Crazy music, people dacing on cars, on the street, bands, singing - I cant even put it into words was amazing!! Monday...CARNIVALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL - monday we kinda chilled out unil the evening when we went to see carnvial! We went with all the guys we met so far in this massive group - and it was ridiculous. The most incredible, colourful, bursting with energy show Ive ever seen, the attention to detail was immense!!! The day we went was the last day, so showed the top 6 samba schools, we arrived late so missed the first one (starts at 9pm - goes on til 6am in the morning!). The crowd was packed with hardcore Brazilians fans of the Samba schools, its like die hard football fans its incredible!! We managed to stay for 4 schools, leaving around 5am!! The costumes, music, dancing, floats - all beyond amazing!! The crowds go wild, each schools show is about 1 hour and a half, they have there samba song playing while the parade goes on, the crowds all have there flags for there 'team'and its madness!!! Whole familes with little babies stay all night! If you ever go to Rio, go over Carnival and see the madness!!! Loved every second!! After getting back after this amazing show....we came back to Carnage. all 24 arrievd back in the room around the same time and there was a huge fight. So it starts with chris just spraying me a little with silly string.

and the whole room goes into pandamonium! Silly string, shaving foam, after sun, sunscrean....every product you can imagion!! The room was a tip..and needless to say ive had to wash every item i own now because of it! Hilarious...yet somehow lorna and sian managed to avoid the ENTIRE THING!!! not fair!!!hehehe!

Tuesday was then again one of my fav days....chilled out day with the funniest evening. It was a quiz night in the hostel so us 3 teamed up with a huge bunch of Irish Guys, and had the funniest night of my life. Ive never laughed so hard!!!!

Seriously....I am just having the most amazing time - and meeting some incredible people I am loving every second. Everyone Ive met I want to stay in contact with - making freinds all over the world who I will stay in touch with - mainly Irish and Aussie, and mainly guys, lol. But its just so so sos so so smuch fun!!! We didnt have any violence or trouble, but alot of peopel in our room did, held up at gun point, and one was nearly stabbed! But nothing was stolen from us - and were all ok. And I have to stay.....Im ridiculously brown. So all is right with the world!!!!!

We are back in Sao Paulo at the mo - and move of the falls tomorro!! Today we spent the day at Jana's cousins, chilling at the pool, drinking Caphrinas....having a BBQ. BLISS!!!!

So anyway....bye bye Brasil! Bring on Argentina!!!!!
